Cirrus guests enjoyed an unique evening of conversation and camaraderie with legendary aviator and Cirrus pilot, Patty Wagstaff in Hilton Head, SC, on Thursday, May 14, 2009.

"I love to talk to people about flying, their airplanes and my love of aviation," said Patty Wagstaff.  "I meet so many pilots and aircraft owners in my travels, but seldom have the chance to have the kind of one-on-one conversations I had with Cirrus owners and pilots at the Hilton Head event."

Today Cirrus Aircraft announced that it has renewed its partnership with Fly Right Films for the production and distribution of its second and forthcoming training film, Decision Making with Dick Rutan: Volume Two of the Aviator Series. As in the first installment in the Aviator Series, Attitude Flying , this second film will again be hosted by Charlie Hewitt and feature the legendary pilot and aviator Dick Rutan sharing his lifetime of flying experience and practical aviation wisdom in the "entertainment" format that made Volume One so successful.

In increasing its sponsorship commitment to Fly Right Films, Cirrus Aircraft has provided Fly Right Films an all new TURBO piston airplane with the Cirrus Perspective by Garmin™ integrated flight deck for the aircraft platform for the film. This plane is full-featured with the very latest optional equipment including the Cirrus Enhanced Vision System (EVS infrared camera by Max-Viz). Decision Making with Dick Rutan: Volume Two of the Aviator Series will be shot and produced in full HD and available on Blu-ray.  Todd Simmons, Cirrus Aircraft Vice President of Marketing, noted the importance of the growing Aviator Series line of films to the Cirrus community and to all pilots. "Charlie, Dick and the Fly Right team are making a real difference in how we think of flight training, in new approaches to cockpit decision-making and in how their new ideas on those subjects are presented.
